I have been doing some private requests along the way. I just can't stop doing what I LOVE completely. My amazingly talented BIL asked me to make a special gift for one of his friends in Portland. But, of course! I love working out custom orders and trying to make someones vision to life. He wanted something edgy for this little dude. Here is what we came up with!

He wanted purple so I did a online search and once I saw this purple flame KNEW we had found it. I instantly had this skull in mind. I have wanted to use it for a while but just didn't know for what. Urban Threads is a great shop with edgy designs. I then went with Purple/Black Minky swirl for the underside and Silver Satin Trim. I just LOVE how it all flows together and is a complete package. The skull did take 75 minutes to stitch but there was not going to be a substitute. It was too perfect. Definitely a project I will remember. Check out my BIL masterpieces as well. 2013 Babies Giveaway!!

Lots of exciting stuff happening around here. Even though I am on "Hiatus" still. I was lucky enough to make an great trade with another crafty lady. She had bought a Brother PR1000 (10 needle Embroidery Machine) but, had not been using it as she had hoped. I needed to upgrade...again. We struck a deal and I now have a 10 Needle Embroidery Machine!! I can embroider and Monogram almost anything! So excited to use this time away to get acquainted with it and when I come back it will be better than ever.

Our move will be here before we know it (off to Northern California this time). Lots to do before that happens which is the reason I am not up and running right now. I have been able to work on a few projects that I hope to have perfected when I come back.

On Hiatus

Most of you are aware that the Hubs job has him away a lot which leaves me with the kids the majority of the time. I work at Nap time and Bedtime on orders. Since we have moved to Georgia it has been a constant struggle for me to balance it all. I am going to take some time off from Custom Orders and focus on my kids, and the home. With another move on the horizon I am not sure when I will be back to taking Custom Orders. I will keep my Etsy shop open as most of the items there are Ready To Ship. I hope you all will understand and stay with me when the time is right to start at it again! I can't thank you all enough for your support and love you have shown by sharing my little hobby with others. If you have placed an order it will be completed. October FUN!

I don't remember if I posted pictures of this Custom Pillow or not but, these are with the Good Camera! A friend asked me to make a pillow that coordinated with her sons bedding but, that was functional as well. I had made a heat transfer onesie for them with this design. Of course he ruined it before he left the hospital as most newborns do. LOL! So, I recreated it on the embroidery machine and added a solid Minky back. This is one of those projects that when I finished I couldn't wait for her to see!!

My youngest just had a birthday. After asking her at least 100 times who she wanted on her birthday shirt she consistently answered with Muno from Yo Gabba Gabba! She's had a recent LOVE for him. Here is the design I came up with. I added a little Mylar to his eye to make it shimmer a little since the cotton fabric had some shine to it already.

FOOTBALL SEASON IS HERE!!

It's FALL!! My FAVORITE time of year! I have been asked in the past to make football tees for girls. The designs are always evolving. In the beginning just added ruffles to the butt of a onesie.
