CHEVRON MINKY IS HERE!!

Just saw this morning that Minky in Chevron print is now available. I will be ordering a yard of Black/White, Blue/White, Hot Pink/White, Silver/White for stock as well as some of the new Minky Swirl Colors : Silver, Charcoal and Jade

HOUSEKEEPING

Order CUT OFF DATE will be APRIL 1st, 2013 until after we move and get settled in Californ-I-A! With a goal of all orders being complete by the end of April. At that time I will be concentrating on our move and will notify all once back up and running. Do not be surprised if it is not until the Fall of 2013!

I need to clarify the Order Process:

Once we have confirmed your order details I will send you an online invoice. That invoice is to be payed promptly (as in within a few, few being 3 days). The "due" date that is confirmed in discussions is based on this. If you delay your payment, your order is then delayed. I cannot guarantee your order will be received on or by your "due date" if you delay payment. I will no longer order items or materials BEFORE payment is received.

On to HAPPIER Notes!! I am off to Californ-I-A with the Hubs next week to take a peak at what and where we will be living in a few months. While I am gone I have decided to have a CONTEST!! It will be on the Kalicocrafts Facebook Page.

Have You Heard?

BACK UP AND RUNNING! Accepting orders for end of February and Beyond! Get them in! We will be moving across country in May.

The Giveaway went great. So fun to hear of all the new babies that are expected this year. Especially some of them being anounced on the comments as well. Next one we will try to bring in some other AWESOME Mompreneurs and have a basket of goodies! Here is what the winner chose!

I have been doing some private requests along the way. I just can't stop doing what I LOVE completely. My amazingly talented BIL asked me to make a special gift for one of his friends in Portland. But, of course! I love working out custom orders and trying to make someones vision to life. He wanted something edgy for this little dude. Here is what we came up with!

He wanted purple so I did a online search and once I saw this purple flame KNEW we had found it. I instantly had this skull in mind. I have wanted to use it for a while but just didn't know for what. Urban Threads is a great shop with edgy designs. I then went with Purple/Black Minky swirl for the underside and Silver Satin Trim. I just LOVE how it all flows together and is a complete package. The skull did take 75 minutes to stitch but there was not going to be a substitute. It was too perfect. Definitely a project I will remember. Check out my BIL masterpieces as well. He is located in Portland but, don't let that stop you from commisioning him on a piece. www.koldshoulder.com

2013 Babies Giveaway!!

Lots of exciting stuff happening around here. Even though I am on "Hiatus" still. I was lucky enough to make an great trade with another crafty lady. She had bought a Brother PR1000 (10 needle Embroidery Machine) but, had not been using it as she had hoped. I needed to upgrade...again. We struck a deal and I now have a 10 Needle Embroidery Machine!! I can embroider and Monogram almost anything! So excited to use this time away to get acquainted with it and when I come back it will be better than ever.

Our move will be here before we know it (off to Northern California this time). Lots to do before that happens which is the reason I am not up and running right now. I have been able to work on a few projects that I hope to have perfected when I come back.
